Therapy for expats in the Hague.
Individual therapy sessions in English and Arabic.
About Me
I have been a practicing therapist for 7 years on and off, all under training and supervision. I recently finished my MA in Counseling Psychology. Most of my client experience was in a psychiatric hospital in Cairo and some of it was a part of my MA requirement. Born and raised in Cairo, moving to the Netherlands in my late 20s was a huge cultural shock and I found myself experiencing the psychological stressors associated with living outside one’s own culture. Therefore providing therapy to the vibrant and diverse Expat community of Den Haag is deeply personal and meaningful to me. I am fluent in both English and Arabic and offer therapy in both languages.
My Approach
I use an integrative approach that is informed by a variety of therapeutic approaches, mainly psychodynamic, humanistic and existential. This gives me the flexibility to adapt my approach to your own unique needs and goals depending on what resonates with you. I work from a client-centered perspective where therapy is a collaborative two-way process that is informed by the client’s needs, capacity and pace.
A safe space to grow
